This group is being designed as a secure space. It is not a place to seek, encourage, or participate in the procurement of controlled substances. Do not bring, buy, sell, transfer, or arrive on any illegal substances, or swap information on how to buy them. Do not come to meetings to ask members where or how to find any illegal substances. Members who violate these basic house rules will be removed from the group and will not be allowed to attend future events.
We ask that members, both new and current, conduct themselves according to qualities of sincerity, openness, willingness to engage in respectful interactions, a genuine interest in learning about responsible use of psychedelics, discretion, and positivity when engaging with other members and representing the psychedelic society. This refers to interactions during the approval process as well as conduct/behavior during our gatherings. We also require all members to have a profile picture to promote transparency and trust in the group. Special exceptions can be made for members whose safety or professional reputation would be in jeopardy if someone were to identify them as a member of the community.
Additional Codes of Conduct
Additions to these guidelines include confidentiality about the content of what is discussed and shared in this group. No one should be discussing what other people are doing, have done, plan to do without the explicit consent of everyone involved. We stress these policies at our discussion circles but haven’t yet put them into our official membership guidelines, until now. This is especially prudent for new members who are unclear about our policies and purpose. Ignorance of these policies due to a lack of engagement with leadership or attendance at member meetings will no longer be an excuse for breaking these policies. They have been reiterated during screening, upon approval, and at our gatherings and through multiple reminders. To protect the safety and confidentiality of our members, leadership will start to enforce these policies should anyone be in violation of them. Breaches of confidentiality are relevant not just to people you talk to outside of this private community, but also within the private community. Additionally, if you find access to something illegal, either yourself or hearing about it from someone else, DO NOT SHARE THAT INFORMATION. This includes underground therapists, street drug dealers, or anything that is explicitly illegal. Cannabis, MDMA, psilocybin, LSD, DMT, etc... these are all schedule 1 drugs and engagement with these compounds in any capacity outside an FDA/DEA approved clinical trial is ILLEGAL and sharing information about the procurement or facilitation of experiences is strictly prohibited within our community.
