Have you had a profound and life altering experience with psychedelics? Are you interested in sharing your story in an effort to persuade law makers to make some policy changes around the criminalization of psychedelics? Here is your chance to get involved! We are currently gathering testimonials through an online form that will be used to inspire our local politicians to write and champion legislation that would decriminalize psychedelics here in Minnesota. Submissions can contain as little or as much detail as you want, and all submissions have the option of being completely anonymous.
With the recent successes in Denver and Oakland to decriminalize magic mushrooms and other psychedelic-containing plants, and efforts in other cities popping up all over the country, it's time for Minnesota to join the call and do what we can to help decriminalize psychedelics.
Here’s the plan:
Compile testimonials from local Minnesotans that have experienced healing or benefit of some kind involving psychedelics.
Your testimonials will be used to support a MN legislator’s motion to include decriminalization and/or legalization of psychedelic plants/fungi on a voting ballot.
Then we attach credible names like our very own Prof. Jessica Nielson, local researchers, key figures, etc… along with our entire membership base.
In Minnesota our laws don’t allow for petitioning a ballot measure, instead it has to be a politician writing and sponsoring the measure. Fortunately, our people are already in talks with people in politics to give this a shot. The time is ripe and we plan to act on it!
If you are interested in helping out, check out the submission form below.
Some things to keep in mind:
Do not include names of other people in your testimonial without their consent.
Writing about more specific reasons or experiences may be easier for law-makers to digest, rather than broad reports of personal development.
We will not be publishing these testimonials.
This will be read by politicians, some may be skeptical, so use your words carefully.
